Judith McCann Wingback Earrings Vintage 1940s-50s
Auroroa Borealis earrings by Judith McCann who invented the wingback clip design in the 1940s. The t-bar piece fits inside the ear, resting on top of the lobe. The upward-facing piece fits behind the lobe keeping the earring in place. Condition of the earrings is good to very good. There are no marks or hallmarks but these are attributed to McCann. The earrings measure 1 1/8" x 1 1/4."
