Caged Carnelian Sterling Silver Pendant Kupittaan Kulta Finland
Mid-century sterling silver and carnelian pendant. The abstract or modernist design may be a cross or simply a caged carnelian. Unlike most jewelry from Finland, there is no date mark on this pendant, but I suspect it dates to the 1970s. The chain, seen in the photos and included, is not original to the piece and does not have the same vintage patina as the pendant. The listing is for the pendant; the chain is a bonus. Condition of the pendant is very good to excellent. It is hallmarked on the reverse - Sterling, Finland, Kupittaan Kulta. It measures 1 3/16" x 1."
